The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with Rainforest and the options you pick, including your privacy settings, products, and resources you use. Also. we get third party data.
There are options when dealing with the technology you use and the data you share. You can refuse to share personal data. Likewise, when we need to collect personal data required by law, or to make a contract with you, and you don’t provide the data, it won’t be possible to do it; or, if this relates to an existing product you are using, we may have to suspend or cancel it. You will get notified if that’s the case at the time. Where providing data is optional and you choose to not share personal data, resources that use those data, such as personalization won’t work for you..

– Offer our products, including updates, security, and troubleshooting, also as support. It also includes data sharing, when needed, to provide the service or process transactions you order.
– Improve and develop our products.
– Customize our products and make recommendations.
– Advertise and market to you, including sending promotional communications, targeting advertisements, and presenting offers relevant to you.
– We also use the data to operate our business, including analyzing our performance, meeting our legal obligations, developing our workforce, and conducting research.

– Our personal data processing for these purposes includes both automatic and manual methods of processing. Our automated methods are often related to our manual methods. For example, our automated methods include AI (artificial intelligence), which we think of as a set of technologies that allow computers to discover, know, detect and aid decision-making to solve problems in a similar way as people do. In order to compile, train and improve the accuracy of our automated processing methods (including AI), we manually review some of the predictions and inferences generated by the automated methods against the underlying data on which the predictions and inferences are based. These manual reviews can be conducted by Rainforest employees or by suppliers who are working on behalf of Rainforest.
